Application Analyst II, EpicCare Ambulatory, Hybrid, NJ

About the position

The Application Analyst II plays a crucial role in supporting the design and build of the EpicCare Ambulatory application, which assists healthcare providers in managing patient care across various outpatient and ambulatory departments. This position involves workflow design, system configuration, and operational support, ensuring that the application meets clinical, regulatory, and billing needs. The analyst is expected to work independently, manage application installations and upgrades, and provide ongoing support during and after implementation.

Responsibilities

• Designing and building the EpicCare Ambulatory application workflows and system configurations.
• Creating and executing test scripts for application functionality and documenting outcomes.
• Providing go-live support and on-call assistance for the application post-implementation.
• Maintaining communication with customers regarding ticket resolutions and application support.
• Collaborating with operational teams to optimize application capabilities and workflows.
• Assisting in the development of training materials and ensuring alignment with system builds.
• Logging decisions, issues, and risks during projects and maintaining version control of workflows.

Requirements

• Minimum of three (3) years of EpicCare Ambulatory build experience post certification.
• Demonstrated ability to support the application effectively.
• Previous experience working with specified customer base.
• Ability to work with moderate supervision.

Nice-to-haves

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of relevant work experience.
• Build experience in Epic Bones, Kaleidoscope, Phoenix, and/or Wisdom.
