About the position

The Application Analyst II position at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSK) involves supporting the Epic Research application within the clinical trials operations. The role focuses on analyzing and configuring the Epic Research module to meet the healthcare organization's needs, ensuring system integrity, and providing ongoing support to end-users. The analyst will collaborate with business users, develop test plans, and participate in go-live readiness activities, contributing to the overall optimization of research processes.

Responsibilities

  • Support clinical trials operations in Epic including research study record maintenance, clinical documentation, reporting, questionnaires, CTMS integration, study timelines, and study calendars.
  • Analyze and configure the Epic Research module and associated tools to meet business needs.
  • Develop test plans to assure the functionality and integrity of systems configuration.
  • Provide leadership and technical guidance to identify system deficiencies and implement corrective actions.
  • Support go-live readiness activities such as training, conversion, and day-in-life activities.
  • Provide ongoing support to end-users on Research features and best practices.
  • Stay current on the latest Epic Research updates and best practices.
  • Participate in ongoing quality improvement initiatives to optimize scheduling and registration processes.

Requirements

  • 3+ years demonstrated ability in Epic application implementation and support.
  • Active Epic certification in Research and Ambulatory Care preferred.
  • Additional Epic certification in Resolute Hospital Billing and Research Billing is a plus.
  • Experience providing support during system changes and process improvements.

Benefits

  • Competitive pay range of $109,300.00-$174,800.00.
