About the position

The Application Analyst will be responsible for the installation, configuration, and ongoing maintenance of business-critical applications, specifically focusing on armored car management software. This role requires strong SQL reporting skills and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve application-related issues independently while collaborating with stakeholders and end-users to ensure optimal application performance and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Support the deployment, configuration, and installation of applications and ensure their successful integration into existing systems.
• Monitor and maintain application functionality and performance, including regular updates and patches.
• Act as the primary point of contact for troubleshooting application issues, performing root cause analysis, and implementing solutions.
• Develop and maintain SQL reports to support business needs and enhance reporting capabilities.
• Create and maintain documentation on application configurations, procedures, and support activities.
• Collaborate with IT teams and business units to identify, evaluate, and implement enhancements to improve application performance and user experience.
• Conduct training sessions and provide technical support to end-users as needed.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, security standards, and best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proven experience as an Application Analyst or in a similar role with hands-on application support.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and experience with SQL Reporting for business insights.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and take ownership of assigned tasks.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills to effectively work with both technical and non-technical teams.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with specific applications relevant to the industry or company's business.
• Knowledge of application security best practices.
• Familiarity with scripting languages or other programming skills for application automation.
