The Application Analyst role in Weld County's Information Technology Department is responsible for the day-to-day application and user support throughout the organization. They will perform duties related to the implementation, management, maintenance, enhancement, support, and decommission of critical software systems. Duties include consulting with stakeholders to gather and define requirements; configure and implement new systems and/or enhance existing systems; write and execute test plans; troubleshoot and resolve complex system issues; deliver training and guidance to end users and system/service owners; develop and maintain system documentation; prepare robust reports to enhance strategic business decisions. This position may support applications such as: Accela, Tyler Treasurer Plus, Tyler Records Management, Hyland OnBase, Application Enhancer Imaging Systems, Cartegraph Asset Management, Facilities Management Software (Door Access Control, HVAC, Environmental Control, Smart Lighting, Fuel Dispensing Systems, and etc.), Harris Realware CAMA Software, and other enterprise applications. The selected person will work as part of a team to meet with business users to understand their needs, and have responsibilities maintaining applications (writing code, updating software, improving web interfaces, building workflows) to improve the overall platform.
