About the position

As an Application Architect at Valorem Reply, you will provide technical delivery leadership for client projects, focusing on enterprise and mid-market solutions. Your role involves designing solution architecture, defining requirements, and ensuring adherence to established processes while collaborating with various team members. You will also have the opportunity to work with the latest Microsoft technologies in a dynamic and engaging environment.

Responsibilities

• Design and lead application architecture, assisting with requirement definition, and ensuring processes are followed by all members of the project team
• Work closely with various team members and project managers to understand and manage project delivery expectations
• Create functional design specifications and implementation plans
• Provide architecture review, and project milestone sessions for project sponsors
• Delegate responsibilities and priorities to development staff
• Ensure project delivery processes are in place and being executed, providing technical oversight for assigned project
• Experience in leading and mentoring junior developers and collaborating with cross-functional teams
• Passion for learning new skills and technologies and staying updated with the latest trends and best practices

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field
• 12 years of experience in a corporate environment
• 5 years of experience designing service-oriented architectures, using cloud providers such as Azure, and hands-on experience writing code such as C#
• 4 years of experience designing database systems for applications (SQL Preferred)
• 1 year of experience with distributed systems and designing microservices
• Expertise and experience in implementing cloud-based SaaS and/or PaaS solutions
• Proven and demonstrated experience designing, architecting, leading development and deployment of multiple enterprise solutions
• Strong desire to solve hard technical problems, and proven ability to do so with little or no direct daily supervision
