The Application Cloud Developer DevOps position at ABBTECH Professional Resources, Inc. is a critical role focused on promoting state-of-the-art IT solutions within a collaborative environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and maintaining containers, as well as enabling container deployments and implementations of serverless architectures within AWS. The ideal candidate will possess detailed experience with AWS and its core resources, including EC2, S3, CloudFormation stacks, and RDS. Additionally, the candidate should have programming experience in languages such as Ruby, Python, JavaScript, Groovy, or NodeJS, with a preference for those who have experience using the AWS Cloud Development Kit (CDK) in any of its supported languages. While experience in Java and C# is not mandatory, it is considered beneficial for assisting development teams in utilizing AWS effectively. The position requires a strong understanding of architectural best practices and experience with Jenkins, including building Jenkins Pipelines using Groovy, Python, and Bash shell scripts. Candidates should have a minimum of 12 years of relevant experience or an advanced degree with at least 11.5 years of experience to be considered a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in this field. A University Degree or equivalent experience is also required. The role demands a high level of expertise in object-oriented programming, AWS services, relational databases, continuous integration technologies, and Linux environments.
