About the position

The Application/Database Developer, Tier 1 role involves developing, testing, and maintaining Microsoft .Net applications to support business requirements. The position requires proficiency in Microsoft Application Development tools and programming languages, with responsibilities spanning the entire application development life cycle, including system installation, diagnostics, performance monitoring, and end-user support.

Responsibilities

• Develop and support assigned business applications throughout the application development life cycle.
• Support, create, and enhance .Net and MS Dynamics workflows and customizations.
• Create and maintain SQL Server Database Applications to support business functions.
• Migrate legacy applications to MS Dynamics and other cloud-based technologies (Azure).
• Create and configure MS Dynamics entities, field level security, and business units.
• Create, modify, deploy, and support custom dashboards, charts, and reports in custom applications and MS Dynamics.
• Provide MS Office support for Access and Excel.
• Conduct data analysis and ad hoc reporting as required by application users and management.
• Liaise with project managers, end users, and third-party vendors to support application requirements.
• Troubleshoot application performance bottlenecks to ensure efficient workflow and data processing.
• Develop test and debug strategies to ensure system reliability and data integrity.
• Research new technologies to improve professional knowledge and maintain an industry-current skill set.
• Assist with IT disaster recovery efforts, testing, and documentation.
• Perform other related duties and/or projects as directed by IT management.

Requirements

• BA in an IT related discipline with a minimum of 3 years experience in a related field, or a 2-year degree with a minimum of 5 years experience, or any equivalent combination of experience and/or education.
• Extensive experience in an Application Development role.
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Dynamics, Microsoft Visual Studio 2015+, Microsoft SQL Server 2016+, C#, ASP.Net, JavaScript (JQuery Angular), CSS, Mobile IOS and Android development, Azure, and cloud-based architecture.
• Experience with Dynamics SDK, Dynamics Plugins, Application API (REST, Oauth), Crystal Reports 11.x, and HTML 5 is helpful.
• Ability to work with a diverse group of people at both a functional and technical level and communicate appropriately to the audience.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
