About the position

IT Concepts, Inc. (ITC) is seeking an experienced Application Database Engineer to support a DOD SOCOM opportunity. The role involves designing and developing methods, processes, and systems to consolidate and analyze both structured and unstructured data sources. The engineer will develop and utilize advanced software programs, algorithms, and automated processes to cleanse, integrate, and evaluate datasets, addressing complex business problems. A key aspect of the position is facilitating the integration of cloud-based data solutions to promote scalability and enhance efficiency, while also optimizing data processing workflows and resolving data-related issues. Additionally, the engineer will be responsible for integrating new project data sources with the current USSOCOM data classification and protection tools and platforms, supporting appropriate data tagging for all project-related data, and assisting in implementing data loss prevention measures. This position is on-site in Tampa, FL, and requires a strong commitment to collaboration and innovation in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Designs and develops methods, processes, and systems to consolidate and analyze structured and unstructured data sources.
• Develops and uses advanced software programs, algorithms, querying and automated processes to cleanse, integrate and evaluate datasets and models complex business problems.
• Facilitates the integration of cloud based data solutions to promote scalability and enhance efficiency, optimizes data processing workflows, and resolves data related issues.
• Integrates new project data sources with the current USSOCOM data classification and protection tools and platforms, supports appropriate data tagging for data used in all projects, and assists in implementing data loss prevention measures.

Requirements

• A Bachelor's Degree and 3 - 10 years of relevant experience.
• Associate's Degree plus 4 years work experience may be substituted for a Bachelor's Degree.
• 6 years work experience may be substituted for a Bachelor's Degree.
• Must have active DOD TS/SCI clearance to be considered for hire.
