About the position

The Application Developer Expert (JEE Applications) is responsible for developing and maintaining Java Enterprise Edition (JEE) applications, modernizing legacy systems, and providing operational support for existing applications. This role involves collaboration with various IT teams and ensuring the quality assurance and user acceptance testing of applications.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain JEE applications
• Modernize legacy applications
• Provide operational support for existing applications
• Prepare detailed software specifications and test plans
• Collaborate with IT infrastructure teams, including Platform, DBA, Network, Security, Help Desk, and Change Management
• Collaborate with QA team to support application QA and UAT
• Support system patching and disaster recovery exercises

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 8+ years of hands-on full stack development experience
• Experience with enterprise-level application development and microservice architecture
• Strong proficiency in Java, including experience with frameworks such as CDI/Spring Framework and JPA
• Experience using relational database systems
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Quick to learn and adapt
