About the position

The Application Developer II role within the Analytic Platforms Team is crucial for developing and maintaining analytics platforms that support decision-making in the Human Capital Management (HCM) domain. This position focuses on application development, data lifecycle management, production support, and the integration of AI technologies to enhance data analytics capabilities. The developer will work on ETL processes, data modeling, and ensure data security and compliance while collaborating with stakeholders to deliver effective analytics solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and test robust ETL processes for data warehousing and analytics solutions.
  • Ensure accurate extraction, transformation, and loading of data into the data warehouse/data lake.
  • Provide ongoing production support for data warehouse/data lake processes, addressing issues promptly.
  • Collaborate with data architects, data analysts, and stakeholders to design efficient data models.
  • Uphold data security protocols and maintain data quality standards.
  • Continuously optimize ETL processes for performance and reliability.
  • Integrate AI technologies to enhance data analytics capabilities and automate tasks.
  • Design and implement BI solutions using tools like Oracle BI Publisher and Microsoft Power BI.
  • Ensure security within OBIEE/OAC, including user management and data-level security.
  • Support and maintain business intelligence solutions, including reports and dashboards.

Requirements

  • B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in BI/ETL development, data warehousing, and data lifecycle management.
  • Experience with high volume, complex relational databases and star schemas.
  • Strong understanding of database concepts for data modeling and mapping.
  • Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries for data analysis and troubleshooting.
  • Competence in utilizing ETL tools such as Informatica and Oracle Data Integrator (ODI).
  • Strong knowledge of ETL design best practices and data warehousing.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Microsoft Azure (Fabric, Databricks) is a plus.
  • Domain knowledge in Oracle Cloud HCM modules is highly desirable.
