Genesis10 is currently seeking an Application Developer with our financial services client in Lake Mary, FL. This is a 12 month + contract to hire hybrid position requiring 3 days a week onsite. The position pays between $75.00 and $77.00 per hour on a W2 basis, depending on experience. Candidates must be US Citizens or Green Card Holders and able to work on a W2 basis directly with Genesis10. The role requires expertise in server infrastructure, virtualization, and cloud computing to architect and maintain high availability production systems in both Public and Private Cloud environments. Candidates should have experience with secure infrastructure deployment in the cloud, utilizing Agile and DevOps concepts. A full understanding of the infrastructure stack and lifecycle is necessary, including enterprise DNS and load balancing, DMZ application behavior, firewall connectivity, external interfaces, Identity and Access Management (IAM), domain controllers, security controls for the Public cloud, monitoring tools and agents, OS images and hardening, distributed and parallel file systems including disk encryption, and software installation, configuration, and patching. Additionally, a developer background with experience in automation and scripting is essential, particularly with hands-on experience using Azure Resource Manager, ARM Templates, Azure Policies, Python, and Terraform. The ideal candidate will have strong proficiency in one or more programming languages, with Java being preferred, as well as expertise in using Terraform to develop, test, and deploy cloud infrastructure as code. Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform Enterprise or Azure Resource Manager to define and provision infrastructure resources is also required.
