About the position

As an Application Developer III at Cencora, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, supporting, and enhancing our customer support platform applications built on the SAP Commerce solution. This position involves working with a large customer base across multiple storefronts, utilizing state-of-the-art front-end technologies within the eCommerce customer support platform. You will be responsible for analyzing, designing, and implementing front-end components using React and Redux, as well as building the front-end user interface. Your expertise will also be required in providing architectural insights into new JavaScript UI frameworks and working with backend RESTful APIs to scale and optimize the performance of front-end applications. In this role, you will measure application performance using APM platforms such as Dynatrace and collaborate closely with business analysts and team members to understand the business requirements that drive the analysis and design of quality technical solutions. You will work alongside the design team to comprehend design requirements and implement them into code. Additionally, you will provide guidance and support to the front-end development team, ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget. Conducting code reviews and providing feedback to other developers will be essential to maintain code quality and consistency. You will also participate in the planning and development of new projects, offering input on technical feasibility, scope, and timelines. Troubleshooting and debugging issues that arise during development or in production will be part of your responsibilities. Ensuring website and application responsiveness, performance optimization, and accessibility for users with disabilities will be key aspects of your role. You will collaborate with SAP back-end developers to integrate front-end code with back-end systems and APIs, utilizing tools such as JIRA, SLACK, Confluence, and Jenkins in your daily tasks.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, support, and add new capabilities to customer support platform applications built on SAP Commerce solution.
• Analyze, design, and implement React & Redux based front-end components and build the front-end UI.
• Provide architectural insight into new JavaScript UI framework.
• Work with backend RESTful APIs and scale and optimize the performance of front-end applications.
• Measure application performance using APM platforms such as Dynatrace.
• Collaborate with business analysts and team members to understand business requirements.
• Work closely with the design team to implement design requirements into code.
• Provide guidance and support to front-end development team as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related technical field.
• 4 years of experience in job offered or related position.
• Experience using ReactJS, VUE, or Angular to build eCommerce applications.
• Experience using JavaScript to support UI frameworks.
• Experience using Java to debug backend APIs.
• Experience using Agile methodology to manage projects.
• Experience using JIRA and Confluence for development processes, documentation, and integration of tools and systems.
• 2 years of experience measuring application performance using an APM platform.
• Experience using Redux or Flux to build eCommerce applications.
