About the position

The Application Developer IV is responsible for supporting all phases of the Agile software development lifecycle, including gathering user requirements, developing and testing code, and providing on-call support for critical issues. This role involves designing and developing enterprise-level software, maintaining software functionality, and ensuring application health through monitoring and testing strategies.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop enterprise-level software programs.
• Maintain and recommend software improvements to ensure strong functionality and optimization.
• Test the application using various testing strategies like Unit Testing, Integration Testing, System Testing, and Smoke Testing.
• Provide 24×7 on-call support for Severity 1 issues and manage SLAs for Severity 2 and 3 support tickets.
• Work with Product Owner to groom backlogs and provide capability.
• Develop, document, and maintain technical specifications and design documentation.
• Provide comprehensive support to internal customers and peers to resolve outstanding problems.
• Monitor application health by establishing dashboards and alerts.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering or related field required.
• Master's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred.
• Seven (7) years or more of Software Development experience required.
• Three (3) years or more of Transportation Management and/or Distribution Management Technology preferred.
• Strong knowledge in .net, SQL, and Azure solutions.
• Knowledge of Service Fabric.
