OSAAVA Services is seeking an Application Developer to join our Air Force / Space team and grow their career within the organization. The Application Developer's primary function is to support the United States Air Force's 53rd Wing Technical Support Services (53rd WTSS) contract. This role is based at Eglin AFB, FL, and requires a Secret clearance. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conceptualizing, planning, designing, developing, testing, launching, and maintaining web-based applications. This position demands strong business process modeling, project management, and programming skills to meet the needs of users such as technicians, engineers, planners, and managers. The Application Developer will utilize a variety of client and server-side programming languages, including Excel Macros/VBA, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, SQL, and Cold Fusion. Effective communication skills and technical savvy are essential for planning, coordinating, and completing complex assignments both independently and as part of a team. The role requires a drive for results, creativity, resourcefulness, self-motivation, and versatility, which will be rewarded within the organization. Candidates should possess a B.S. in computer science, Computer Information Systems, or a related field, along with four or more years of relevant experience. IASAE II certification is required within six months of hire. The ideal candidate will have a passion for developing efficient tools and applications to support operations or structured business processes, along with general coding or scripting experience, database planning, and web application coding experience.
