About the position

The Application Developer (.Net) role involves developing, maintaining, and supporting applications using the Microsoft .NET framework and Power Platform. The position requires expertise in converting legacy systems to modern solutions while ensuring seamless integration and performance. The developer will work closely with database administrators and follow established software development practices to deliver high-quality applications.

Responsibilities

• Assist in converting legacy .NET applications to the Microsoft Power Platform.
• Provide ongoing maintenance and support for existing .NET legacy applications.
• Develop and implement robust API integration solutions.
• Collaborate with database administrators to design efficient data models.
• Exhibit expertise in the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Follow established development practices and identify opportunities for process improvements.

Requirements

• Valid Microsoft .NET development certification.
• Certification in Microsoft Power Platform development.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as VB.NET, Java/J2EE, and API development.
• Strong experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Pages, Portals).
• Hands-on experience in setting up Integrated Development Environments (IDEs) and writing unit and feature tests.
• Ability to run and optimize SQL queries.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in operating systems, databases, application servers, programming languages, and network protocols.
• Relevant technical certifications or additional training in these areas.
