About the position

Professional Solutions Delivered, LLC (ProSoDel) is a total solutions provider for government and commercial customers in the areas of Program Management, Logistics, and Information Technology Support Services. We are currently seeking a ServiceNow Application Developer to join our team of professionals in support of the Department of Veterans Affairs. This position is fully remote, and applicants must have the ability to provide their own work environment, internet access, and be able to attend online meetings daily. As a ServiceNow Application Developer, you will actively participate and materially contribute to the technical aspects of defining, documenting, and implementing development best practices, including standards, processes, and procedures. You will engage in Joint Application Design (JAD) sessions to collect, document, and validate end-user data, application, and report requirements. Collaboration with teammates is essential as you will support both legacy and new applications and instruct users on correct application usage. You will be involved in all aspects of the applications development life cycle, including Discover, Define, Design, Development, and deployment of applications in support of the organization's priorities. Maintaining knowledge of new development techniques and technologies, particularly within the healthcare sector, is crucial. Additionally, you will participate effectively as part of an on-call rotation with teammates and in formal and informal team events and discussions. Proactively suggesting considerations for optimal application testing and actively participating in validation and testing methodologies will also be part of your responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Actively participates and materially contributes to the technical aspects of defining, documenting, and implementing development best practices.
• Participates in JAD (Joint Application Design) sessions to collect, document, and validate end-user data, application, and report requirements.
• Collaborates with teammates to support both legacy and new applications and instructs users with correct application usage.
• Engages in all aspects of the applications development life cycle - Discover, Define, Design, Development and deploy applications in support of the priorities of the organization.
• Maintains knowledge of new development techniques and/or technologies and their application within the healthcare sector.
• Participates effectively as part of on-call rotation with teammates.
• Participates effectively in formal and informal team events and discussions.
• Proactively suggests considerations for optimal application testing and actively participates in such validation and testing methodologies.

Requirements

• United States Citizen
• Bachelor's degree with 6 years' experience in relevant field, or
• Associate's degree with 10 years' experience in relevant field, or
• High school diploma with 16 years' experience in relevant field.
• Clearance: T2
• 5 years professional experience in software development life cycle.
• Must possess a current ServiceNow Platform development-based certification.
• Demonstrated experience with ServiceNow platform capabilities in a client environment.
• Demonstrated experience with the ServiceNow Business Rules and the scripting aspects of the ServiceNow Platform.
• Must have a valid driver's license and reliable/working transportation.
