About the position

In this role, you will manage the technical development of software, primarily focusing on Salesforce, from inception through user acceptance. This includes overseeing projects that may impact multiple departments or involve medium risk situations. You will be responsible for designing steps and modules, ensuring timelines are met, and identifying and resolving any issues that arise during the development process. Your expertise will be crucial in developing solutions using both configuration and custom code within Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, or Financial Service Cloud. You will develop solutions primarily in Salesforce.com, utilizing either Lightning Component Development or Classic UI, Apex Classes/Triggers, Visualforce Pages, Salesforce Workflow, SOQL, SOSL, and the Force.com API. Your design skills will contribute to the creation of Technical Design Specifications for projects, and you will be expected to create logic flow charts and process diagrams to illustrate your designs. Additionally, you will create and modify code to meet specifications, conduct testing and debugging of your work, and support production software operations during normal business hours as well as off-hours. You will also contribute to team discussions and troubleshoot client issues, potentially providing support to an entire business unit. Researching external software solutions will also be part of your responsibilities, ensuring that you stay informed about the latest technologies and methodologies in the field.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • 3 years experience as a Salesforce Developer.
  • Experience developing software for an enterprise environment.
  • Proficiency in object-oriented programming languages (OOP) and relational databases, applying it within the Salesforce platform.
  • Ability to architect and deliver custom code on multiple large-scale implementations.
  • 1 year experience in Community/Experience cloud.
  • Experience with enterprise applications development, design skills, and applicable software development languages.
  • Ability to plan work for self and others and resolve technical and other problems.
  • Bachelor's degree in MIS, computer science, or other science field required.
