Koch Companies is looking for a motivated Application Developer to join their team in St. Paul, MN. This role focuses on creating impactful applications that support business operations, with an emphasis on coding, working with APIs, and collaborating on innovative projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in programming and a passion for problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update C#, VB, and VB.Net codebases for web applications and internal APIs.
• Troubleshoot applications to ensure smooth operation across departments.
• Collaborate with the SQL Database Administrator to optimize data flow.
• Build data feeds using vendor API documentation.
• Develop internal apps whether web, mobile, or standalone based on business needs.
• Provide creative automation solutions by working closely with management and department leaders.
• Participate in project management and helpdesk rotations, providing timely IT support.

Requirements

• 3+ years of programming experience, with at least 1 year in mobile or web development using C#/C++.
• Hands-on experience with C#/C++, HTML/MVC, CSS, JavaScript, Angular.
• Experience with SOAP/Restful APIs.
• Proficient in SQL (queries, tables, views).
• Project management skills to handle deadlines and deliver projects efficiently.
• Strong customer service approach and troubleshooting abilities.
• Excellent communication skills to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical staff.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field (relevant certifications are a plus!).
