About the position

The Application Developer with AWS role involves developing and troubleshooting applications primarily using Java, with a focus on backend API development and system integration. The position requires a strong understanding of API calls and JSON connections, as well as the ability to manage coding and system integration design work for backend APIs. This hybrid position is based in Redmond, WA and is expected to last for over 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot Java applications and code.
• Develop and review system flow diagrams.
• Integrate front end with backend APIs.
• Understand and manage API calls and JSON connections.
• Troubleshoot code issues as they arise.
• Manage coding and system integration design work for backend APIs.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in application development, specifically with Java.
• Strong expertise in Java programming.
• Experience in backend API development.
• Understanding of problem statements and systems integration.
• Ability to design code with a test-driven mindset.
