About the position

The position involves application development and programming in RPG for Anda's ERP system on the IBM iSeries. The role supports various business areas including Distribution, Compliance, and Customer Service, and requires collaboration with multiple departments to gather project requirements and scope.

Responsibilities

• Create or modify software applications on the iSeries/IBMi to meet business demands.
• Support end users with issues related to the iSeries/IBMi applications.
• Analyze and repair system software for reported malfunctions or failures.
• Assist in the automated loading of large data sets for business requirements.
• Develop innovative solutions within and across the platform.
• Ensure controlled, tested, and approved changes to the platform.
• Establish meaningful relationships with key clients and sponsors.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years in an IT role.
• Bachelor's degree required.
• In-depth knowledge of IBM iSeries servers and operating system.
• Proficiency in RPG, CL, and SQL programming languages.
• Strong understanding of project management lifecycle.

Nice-to-haves

• Knowledge of Rocket's Aldon.
• Familiarity with Windows and JavaScript.
• Experience with SQL Server.
