About the position

The Application Developer at NTT DATA will be responsible for understanding client requirements and translating them into application features. This role involves collaborating with IT professionals to design and develop applications, ensuring high-quality code and thorough testing before launch. The developer will also evaluate existing applications for updates and enhancements, while maintaining technical documentation and guides.

Responsibilities

• Understand client/user requirements and how they translate into application features
• Collaborate with a team of IT professionals to set specifications for new applications
• Design creative prototypes according to specifications
• Write high quality source code to program complete applications within deadlines
• Perform unit and integration testing before launch
• Conduct functional and non-functional testing
• Troubleshoot and debug applications
• Evaluate existing applications to reprogram, update and add new features
• Develop technical documents and guides to accurately represent application design and code
• Keep current with the latest technologies
• Confer with users and IT personnel to develop new approaches or alternatives to ensure effective user assistance

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in an Application Developer or similar role
• 2+ years of technical knowledge of telecommunications, network, and Windows operating systems
• 2+ years of programming language experience such as C#, SQL, or JavaScript
• 2+ years of Visual Studio experience (2012, 2017, 2019, 2022) as well as SQL Server Management Studio, MVC programming, and Azure DevOps
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
