About the position

The Application Developer plays a crucial role in delivering technical solutions for Mobile and Web Applications, as well as Application integrations and Back-end processes. This position involves developing, documenting, and testing software to meet end-user needs and achieve business objectives. The Application Developer also provides technical guidance to development teams and oversees the technical aspects of various projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop Web and Mobile applications using Angular and .Net.
• Build and maintain integrations between web applications using APIs or SQL-to-SQL jobs for form data submission into Bright Horizons administrative systems.
• Support in-house infrastructure for forms management, including software upgrades and SSL certificate maintenance.
• Work collaboratively with IT analysts, quality engineers, product managers, and business partners to meet business objectives.
• Advise team members and business partners on technical considerations and implementation problems.
• Ensure forms are adequately tested prior to release in collaboration with Quality Engineers.
• Analyze, estimate, and deliver user stories and bugs assigned to meet deadlines.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering is required.
• 3 years of application development experience with business applications in a fast-paced environment is required.
• 3 years of experience in designing, developing, and implementing business solutions from concept to production is required.
• Prior experience with Angular, .Net, .Net Core, MySQL, and Azure is required.
• Familiarity with web development languages such as JavaScript, jQuery, and Angular is required.
• Knowledge of information systems, infrastructure, and operational systems in a corporate environment is required.
• Experience designing systems with standard security protocols is required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.

Nice-to-haves

• Familiarity with common vulnerabilities and how to prevent them.
• Interpersonal skills necessary to manage business and technical relationships with internal clients.
• Knowledge of best practices in information technology governance and application delivery.
