About the position

The Application Developer role at Apidel Technologies involves developing, maintaining, and supporting applications using the Microsoft .NET framework and Power Platform. The position requires expertise in converting legacy systems to modern solutions while ensuring data integrity and efficient workflows. The developer will collaborate with various teams to design data models, integrate APIs, and follow best practices in software development.

Responsibilities

• Assist in converting legacy .NET applications to the Microsoft Power Platform.
• Provide ongoing maintenance and support for existing .NET legacy applications.
• Develop and implement robust API integration solutions.
• Collaborate with database administrators to design efficient data models.
• Exhibit expertise in the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Follow established development practices and identify opportunities for process improvements.

Requirements

• Valid Microsoft .NET Certification in development.
• Certification in Microsoft Power Platform development.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as VB.NET and Java/J2EE.
• Strong experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Pages, Portals).
• Hands-on experience in setting up Integrated Development Environments (IDEs) and writing unit and feature tests.
• Ability to run and optimize SQL queries.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in operating systems, databases, application servers, programming languages, and network protocols.
• Relevant technical certifications or additional training in these areas.
