About the position

The Application Developer will support the conversion of legacy .NET applications to the Microsoft Power Platform, ensuring seamless integration and functionality. This role involves ongoing support for legacy applications, API integration, data model design, and adherence to software development life cycle (SDLC) methodologies. The developer will also be responsible for maintaining development standards and contributing to the overall success of projects.

Responsibilities

• Support the conversion of legacy .NET applications to the Microsoft Power Platform.
• Provide ongoing support and maintenance for current legacy applications in the .NET environment.
• Develop and implement integration solutions with external applications through APIs.
• Collaborate with DBAs to design robust data models and optimize queries.
• Demonstrate a strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Adhere to established development standards and suggest improvements.
• Perform other duties and tasks as defined.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience in setting up IDE for multiple languages.
• Experience in writing unit and feature tests.
• Proficiency in MS Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Pages, Portals).
• Knowledge of vb.net, Java/J2EE programming, and APIs.
• Experience running SQL queries and knowledge of best practices for systems deployment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proactive and self-directed management and organizational skills.
