About the position
The Application Developer at Hexagon US Federal is responsible for creating innovative applications and tools that enhance operational decision-making for the US Federal government. This role involves process automation, enterprise platform integration, and applying data science principles to manage and analyze large datasets. The position offers opportunities to work on 2D and 3D programming, including gaming and virtual reality applications, while collaborating with various teams to improve existing tools and code.
Responsibilities
- Complete a range of application development tasks including app and tool creation, process automation, and enterprise platform integration.
- Create scripts to assist with recurring instances of file format conversion/translation.
- Apply data science principles and database management techniques to process, exploit, and store large disparate datasets.
- Create custom programs for 2D and 3D environments including gaming and virtual reality.
- Interface with app development teams in other parts of the organization to identify existing tools or code that can help enable requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university.
- TS/SCI security clearance required.
- Mid-level application development experience.
