About the position

Russell Tobin has partnered with a leading manufacturer in the White Bear Lake/Vadnais Heights area to add to their growing team! As an Application Developer, you will maintain, design, and enhance the company's Epicor ERP applications. This role involves collaborating with end-users to understand their needs and implement user-friendly improvements. As a key member of the team, you will support ongoing technical requests and assist with the installation and testing of new versions/releases of Epicor. In this position, you will be responsible for customizing forms using the Epicor Software Development Kit (C#), developing Epicor Business Process Maps (BPM), and creating Business Application Queries (BAQ). You will also design Method and Data Directives, develop and deploy dashboards and BAQs, and manage patches and upgrades through the Epicor Administration Console. Additionally, you will generate reports using SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and assist with the implementation, testing, and validation of new software releases. Your role will require you to master application development tools to support existing software applications, develop training materials, and provide software application training. You will collaborate with the CIO to prioritize and complete projects and technical requests promptly, ensuring that the needs of the end-users are met effectively.

Responsibilities

Requirements

• Strong understanding of relational databases.
• General knowledge of Epicor ERP applications and security.
• Experience deploying patches and upgrades via the Epicor Administration Console.
• Familiarity with Service Connect is a plus.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or a related field, with at least four years of experience in ERP implementation and development, or equivalent professional experience.
• Proficiency in SQL and SSRS.
• Extensive knowledge of Epicor ERP and Epicor tools.
• Experience training end-users on software systems.
• Epicor application and technical support experience.
• Proficiency in C# programming is desired.
