About the position

The Application Developer will join a successful team at Myers and Stauffer LC, a firm specializing in audit, accounting, and consulting services for government-sponsored health care programs. This role focuses on developing and supporting applications that manage significant state and federal budgets, process claims, and contribute to fraud prevention efforts. Responsibilities

  • Participate as a key member on the development team.
  • Understand common OOP concepts and design patterns.
  • Self-review of skill gaps to cover with quarterly training hours.
  • Learn and apply change management and SLDC processes and tools.
  • Eager to learn the supported business line(s) primary functions.
  • Build professional relationships with business and IT members to deliver solid solutions.
  • Be able to admit and learn from mistakes.
  • Work on multiple concurrent assignments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required.
  • 1 year of related work experience required, 3+ years preferred.
  • Experience in .NET; .NET Core and beyond preferred.
  • Experience with ASP.NET; ASP.NET Core preferred.
  • Experience with C#, JavaScript, and SQL languages preferred.
  • Familiarity with web services and web APIs preferred.
  • Experience with CI/CD a plus.
  • Must be able to occasionally work independently on projects and within a remote team environment.
  • Maintain lines of communication through various mediums.
  • Analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Verbal and written communication skills.
