About the position

The Application Developer is responsible for building custom web solutions utilizing technologies such as .NET, C#, Java, and Angular. This role involves a variety of activities aimed at enhancing and maintaining existing applications, as well as developing new solutions that meet business needs. The developer will support existing applications by addressing defects, implementing minor enhancements, and resolving system issues. This includes programming in HTML5, JavaScript, and CSS3, and utilizing common frameworks like jQuery, Angular, TypeScript, and Node.js to create robust web applications. In addition to supporting and enhancing existing applications, the Application Developer will be tasked with developing, testing, configuring, and deploying technical solutions that leverage both .NET and Java technologies. The role requires a strong understanding of web application development, particularly in ensuring that content is compliant with Section 508 standards, which mandates accessibility for individuals with disabilities. The developer will work both independently and as part of an agile team, collaborating with other team members to deliver high-quality solutions that align with business objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Support existing applications by addressing defects and making minor enhancements.
  • Resolve system defects in a timely manner.
  • Develop solutions using common frameworks such as jQuery, Angular, TypeScript, and Node.js.
  • Program in HTML5 with JavaScript and CSS3.
  • Assist with developing, testing, configuring, and deploying technical solutions using .NET and Java.

Requirements

  • 6 years of relevant IT development experience.
  • Hands-on experience with .NET, C#, Java, Angular, and SQL Server programming.
  • Experience developing SQL statements and stored procedures.
  • Experience developing web applications that are Section 508 compliant.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of an agile team.
  • US Citizenship.
