About the position

The Application Developer Departmental Analyst position within the Driver Records Program Section is responsible for a comprehensive range of information system analyst assignments. This includes designing, developing, testing, and implementing computer systems and applications for various Treasury applications, such as the Corporate Income Tax and Michigan Business Tax systems. The role supports the business operations of state agencies and offers a hybrid work option, requiring two days on-site and three days remote work per week.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and implement computer systems and applications for Treasury's Corporate Income Tax and Michigan Business Tax systems.
  • Perform a complete range of information system analyst assignments.
  • Support the business operations of state agencies through various IT services.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with 21 semester credits in computer science, data processing, computer information systems, or related fields.
  • Associate's degree with 16 semester credits in relevant fields and two years of experience as an application programmer or IT technician.
  • High school diploma or GED with four years of experience in relevant IT roles.
