About the position
The Senior Application Developer will focus on the design, development, testing, and deployment of a comprehensive reporting module for payment systems within insurance applications. This role involves web-based programming support, including modifications, analytical tasks, testing, and payment services, with a strong emphasis on generating ad hoc reports and queries. The position requires collaboration with various state and federal entities, ensuring the integration of data sources and the creation of interactive dashboards and reports.
Responsibilities
- Provide support for design, development, testing, and deployment activities for a comprehensive reporting module.
- Perform defect fixing, designing, coding, and testing new enhancements.
- Generate ad hoc reports and queries as needed.
- Implement a drag-and-drop interface for report creation.
- Develop interactive dashboards that allow users to manipulate data and perform queries.
- Support ETL and ELT processes for efficient data handling.
- Ensure reports are pixel-perfect and reflect intended designs accurately.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- At least five years of hands-on experience with SQL and Stored Procedures.
- Experience using HTTPS for at least five years.
- Proven experience in generating ad hoc reports and queries.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with Azure Cloud Services.
- Familiarity with interactive dashboards and reporting tools.
