About the position

KLA is a global leader in diversified electronics for the semiconductor manufacturing ecosystem, and we are always looking to build our Application Engineers talent community. Although we do not currently have an opening, we are interested in learning about your background for future opportunities. In this role, you will be responsible for the characterization of next-generation state-of-the-art semiconductor reticle inspection products. This includes designing test plans, collecting data, performing analysis, and publishing results and recommendations in the form of application notes and best-known methods. You will also play a crucial role in customer support by demonstrating product value during beta testing, head-to-head (H2H) comparisons, and tools in the ramp phase, thereby enabling product penetration and adoption at customer facilities. This involves investigating semiconductor manufacturing yield issues and providing inspection solutions. You will create and share product value statements and use-cases with engineering, marketing, and sales groups, as well as train customers and other applications engineers. Additionally, you will conduct new tool demonstrations to showcase tool performance and develop use cases to help drive tool sales. This position requires worldwide travel, averaging between 10-60%, to support inspection products at customer sites.
