About the position

The Application Development Engineer is responsible for developing software applications by coding, testing, and maintaining application software to support the Workflow team utilizing IBM BAW and IBM ODM applications. This role collaborates closely with lead/senior engineers, teammates, and other stakeholders in a SAFe Agile team to ensure that software solutions of moderate complexity meet business requirements and are delivered on time and within budget. The engineer will also work with technical mentors to adhere to best practices and standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop software applications by coding, testing, and maintaining application software.
• Support the Workflow team utilizing IBM BAW and IBM ODM applications.
• Collaborate with lead/senior engineers and teammates in a SAFe Agile team.
• Ensure software solutions meet business requirements and are delivered on time and within budget.
• Work with technical mentors to follow best practices and standards.

Requirements

• Experience in software development and application engineering.
• Proficiency in coding and testing software applications.
• Familiarity with IBM BAW and IBM ODM applications.
• Ability to work in a SAFe Agile team environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
