About the position

The Application Development Engineer will focus primarily on developing new applications for innovative technologies and platforms, while also engaging in marketing and business development activities. This role requires collaboration with internal engineering teams and external partners, leading customer demonstrations, and transferring new applications to the customer support team. The position is critical for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities in the semiconductor industry.

Responsibilities

• Develop new applications on new technologies or novel platforms.
• Interface between internal engineering team and external partners.
• Lead customer demonstrations and application development.
• Analyze, develop, and transfer new applications to the customer support team.
• Engage with customers to identify new business opportunities.

Requirements

• M.S or higher in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Material Science, or related field.
• Experience in semiconductor equipment and wafer inspection/review.
• In-depth understanding of semiconductor process technologies.
• Good communication skills in oral and written forms.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
• Strong analytical and data analysis skills.
• Self-motivated and a great team player.
