About The Position
As an Application Engineer for Analytical Instrumentation, you will play a crucial role in providing sales support and technical expertise for a range of analytical instruments. This position is focused on supporting product lines that include density, viscosity, refractometry, polarimetry, and volatility, specifically within the Southern region. Your primary responsibilities will involve conducting feasibility studies, resolving customer application questions, and ensuring that clients receive the highest level of service and support. You will be expected to interpret data, troubleshoot issues, and provide technical support during installations and training sessions. In addition to your technical responsibilities, you will also represent the company at conferences and trade shows, showcasing our products and capabilities to potential clients. This role requires a strong commitment to customer satisfaction and the ability to communicate effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders, including scientists, university professors, and CEOs. You will report directly to the Business Unit Sales Manager and will be based in Houston, TX. The position offers a competitive base salary, with additional bonus opportunities and a profit-sharing contribution to your 401k retirement savings plan. You will also receive a $10,000 anniversary bonus every five years, reflecting the company's commitment to rewarding long-term employees.
