As an Application Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, testing, deploying, and maintaining software applications. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders, including business analysts, project managers, and end-users, to gather requirements and translate them into functional applications. This position typically operates within agile or iterative development frameworks, allowing you to work alongside cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions that meet the needs of our federal clients. Your innovative mindset and curiosity will be essential as you explore new technologies to address complex business challenges and enhance the services provided to the American public.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain software applications.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and understand requirements.
  • Translate business requirements into functional applications.
  • Work in agile or iterative development environments.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Requirements

  • Experience with Power Apps and PowerAutomate.
  • Experience with Azure Cloud and Azure DevOps.
  • Demonstrated experience with Agile development methodology and DevOps.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with M365, Power Platform (PowerApps, PowerAutomate, etc.), SharePoint Online (SPO).
  • Knowledge of RESTful services and WCF.
  • Proficiency in C#, ASP.NET MVC/Web API and .NET Core.
  • Familiarity with JavaScript/jQuery/Power Shell Script, Angular v6 or higher.
  • Experience with Toad (or Oracle SQL Developer) or equivalent.
