About The Position

As an Application Engineer (Full Stack), you will play a crucial role in the design and implementation of products assigned to your team. This position requires you to think critically and independently, as you will be responsible for taking user stories and new features from concept to production without supervision. You will actively manage and escalate risks and customer-impacting issues that arise in your day-to-day responsibilities, ensuring that the products meet high standards of quality, security, and reliability. In this role, you will analyze, design, program, test, and deploy new user stories and features, ensuring they are delivered with high quality. You will also provide guidance and mentorship to Associate Application Engineers, helping them with both learning and work-related tasks. Your leadership will be essential in achieving team commitments and influencing others to do the same through your strong communication skills. You will oversee design decisions and guide your team to achieve key results for the products assigned to you, while also remediating issues using engineering principles and creating proactive design solutions for potential failures. Additionally, you will contribute to and lead technology communities within Discover, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages innovation and continuous improvement.
