Join the Ansys Customer Excellence team to partner with our customers to engineer what's ahead, solve their real-world engineering problems, deploy Ansys software in their design workflows, and grow Ansys' business. As a hands-on expert in Ansys products, you will use advanced-level engineering knowledge to provide technical pre-sales support, perform professional services, and help translate customer requirements into exciting new product features. You will be working within multi-disciplinary teams to advance your knowledge, experience and business impact. In this role, you will lead and assist in coordinating and executing all technical activities throughout the sales opportunity lifecycle, including technical discovery, product presentations, demonstrations, and evaluations. As a product expert with one or more Ansys products, you will interact with customers to understand their product design needs and engineering design workflows, analyzing how to address their requirements using Ansys products and platform. You will articulate Ansys' value proposition and collaborate with the Ansys product development teams to translate customer requirements into exciting new product features, while also testing new releases of Ansys products on industrial problems. Additionally, you will support Ansys field and digital marketing, lead consulting services, and conduct introductory to advanced training classes. This position requires a strong educational background in engineering, with a minimum of a Master's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Aerospace, or Electrical Engineering or a related field. You will need to demonstrate relevant experience in an engineering software environment, with a focus on Ansys software or other commercial CAE, CAD, EDA, PLM software packages. Strong problem-solving skills, interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to travel domestically up to 25% of the time are essential. You will also need to communicate effectively with Ansys and customer stakeholders at multiple levels, from individual users to C-suite executives, and be willing to train Ansys and customer employees.
