About the position

This position involves leading all aspects of web development for both in-house and customer-facing applications, focusing on requirements gathering, software development, testing, documentation, training, implementation, ongoing support, and maintenance. The role emphasizes innovation and ownership, particularly in scaling Google's financial data operations on the Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The successful candidate will work with a cross-functional team to develop robust data pipelines and analytics platforms that support Google's financial reporting and operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of web development for in-house and customer-facing applications.
• Gather requirements and develop software solutions based on UI and functional specs/prototypes.
• Test, document, and implement web applications while providing ongoing support and maintenance.
• Participate in the lifecycle of SAP business intelligence projects, including requirements analysis and design.
• Plan, prioritize, implement, and deliver investigative reporting systems using SAP and related technologies.
• Work with third-party vendor product teams to resolve issues and ensure smooth integration.
• Apply SAP technical, domain, and Business Intelligence (BI) expertise across various systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience working with Python.
• Experience using Systems, Applications and Products in Data Processing (SAP).

Nice-to-haves

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems (MIS), or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience in designing and developing robust ETL solutions and complex data pipelines using SAP Data Services, Smart Data Integration (SDI), and Smart Data Access (SDA).
• Experience with data volume replication and real-time analytics using SAP Operational Data Provisioning (ODP), SAP Landscape Transformation Replication Server (SLT), and SAP Business Warehouse (BW).
