About the position

The Applications Engineer II position at ChampionX involves developing technical proposals and delivering sales presentations to meet customer needs in the oil and gas industry. This role requires collaboration with design engineers and direct interaction with customers to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, ensuring successful implementation of products and services.

Responsibilities

• Develop technical proposals for integrating the organization's products and services with customer systems.
• Deliver sales presentations and respond to technical inquiries regarding products, systems, or services.
• Estimate costs, resources, time, and technical requirements for product modifications and installations.
• Liaise with hardware, software, and systems design engineers to ensure proper product configuration and installation.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems during or after implementation.
• Train customers on product features and usage.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 3 years of relevant experience in a technical role.
• Authorization to work in the US without Visa sponsorship.
• Ability to provide technical advice during negotiations with strategic customers.
• Strong customer service skills and ability to explain and train effectively.
