About the position

The Applications Engineer III (CMS development) plays a crucial role in supporting the academic, research, and healthcare missions of MUSC by providing operational, consultative, and collaborative functions within the Information Solutions team. This position is responsible for the implementation and maintenance of business operations supporting applications, ensuring system updates, and providing support to operational end users. The role requires excellent customer service skills and the ability to lead projects and team meetings effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the implementation and maintenance of business operations supporting applications.
  • Maintain system updates and monitor team resources.
  • Provide proactive and reactive support to operational end users.
  • Lead and participate in team and project meetings.
  • Assist with the onboarding of new hires.
  • Lead designated projects and provide input on solutions to improve efficiency.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree and five years directly related experience; or a high school diploma and seven years directly related experience; or a Master's degree and 3 years directly related experience required.
  • Strong interpersonal, project management, analytical, and communication skills are essential.
  • Application-specific certification(s) preferred, with Sitecore CMS developer certification preferred.
