About the position

The Application Engineer will evaluate industrial applications, provide product solutions, and build strong relationships with vendor partners. This role is essential in supporting sales efforts and ensuring customer satisfaction through technical expertise and problem-solving capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical and sales support
• Go on sales calls and schedule appointments with potential new accounts
• Help provide technical training at 2 product training meetings (PTM) per year
• Establish root cause of possible failures to machines and plan corrective action with the right product of applications
• Achieve mutually agreed upon annual corporate sales goals for all products applicable to the industrial market
• Provide training to sales staff relative to applications and products
• Foster a positive team environment by assisting co-workers
• Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent work experience
• 1-5 years industry experience minimum
• Self-motivation
• Excellent customer relations/sales skills
• Industrial application problem solving capabilities
• Knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems related to the Industrial industry
• Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with engineers and technical designers to determine and deliver appropriate customer solutions
• Mechanically inclined mindset
• Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills
