The AbbVie Business Technology Solutions (BTS) team shapes the digital transformation necessary for our treatments to positively impact patients' lives. In the role of Business Systems Consultant, you'll tackle complex challenges as you develop and diversify your professional experiences while helping others grow and develop their skills. In this role, you'll be responsible for understanding business requirements, designing and developing SAP ERP centric solutions, testing and documenting system functionality, conducting end user training, and working across other functions of Distribution and Logistics. You will proactively seek out strategic business opportunities for the application of new or existing technology capabilities across Global Distribution and Logistics with high-level business subject matter experts. You will investigate and understand the capabilities of existing systems and technologies already in use across the Supply Chain Traceability Organization and similar interconnected business areas in AbbVie, and explore available technologies applied to this business area in the industry. Additionally, you will drive Operations BTS SAP system technology initiatives, manage SLC documentation, and support business users in User Acceptance Test phases for initiatives within your scope of responsibility. Developing Operations BTS SAP system business relationships and integrating activities with other BTOs, such as Operations, will be crucial to ensure successful implementation and support of project efforts. You will exercise considerable latitude in determining the objectives of your assignments, having defined authority and responsibility for a significant area of work, including technical, financial, and quality aspects.
