About the position

The position is an entry-level role within Cadence's World Field Organization's (WFO) Rotational Program, designed for new STEM bachelor's graduates. This program offers hands-on training in electronic design automation (EDA) tools and provides opportunities to work closely with technical experts and support the sales team. The role involves customer-facing responsibilities, focusing on providing design services, technical sales, and customer support to advanced Cadence customers. The program consists of two six-month rotations, allowing participants to gain experience in various areas of electronic design and technology.

Responsibilities

  • Provide front-line design services and technical sales support to Cadence customers.
  • Collaborate with technical experts and account teams to develop innovative solutions for customer challenges.
  • Participate in a cohort-based program that includes hands-on training in various EDA applications.
  • Engage in networking and community activities with fellow recent graduates at Cadence.

Requirements

  • Recent graduate with a bachelor's degree in a STEM field.
  • Experience using electronic design automation (EDA) tools is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Strong desire to learn and contribute to electronic technologies.

Nice-to-haves

  • Familiarity with HDLs, synthesis, and timing.
  • Basic knowledge of UNIX, C/C++, and scripting languages such as Perl, TCL, or Python.
