About the position

Aravo is seeking a talented Application Engineer to join its Application R&D team, focusing on the development of Third Party Risk Management (TPRM) and Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) applications. This role is crucial in delivering market-appropriate applications using the Aravo Platform, which is designed to enhance compliance and mitigate risks for enterprise clients. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively within an agile team to ensure timely and quality delivery of applications, contributing to a mission that aims to eradicate corruption and social injustice from supply chains.

Responsibilities

• Participate in technical design, integration, and configuration of highly customizable SaaS solutions
• Contribute to the build and delivery of applications using Aravo's TPRM/GRC Platform technology
• Work as a member of the team in the implementation of configuration user stories and documented technical specifications
• Work closely with Product Managers to effectively translate and implement business requirements specified for particular applications
• Collaborate with QA to ensure quality delivery of applications according to Aravo's Quality Process and Application Software Development Lifecycle

Requirements

• Strong understanding of a software delivery lifecycle, and more than one type of delivery methodology
• Understanding of delivery challenges that are specific to a SaaS delivery environment
• Experience designing and configuring complex, scalable SaaS solutions according to business and technical requirements
• Experience with testing and QA efforts of newly delivered applications
• Basic knowledge of programming and web technologies (Java, JavaScript, Angular, React, etc.)
• Experience implementing new features and improving existing features
• Proven ability to leverage other team members to accomplish tasks
• Excellent communication and customer-facing presentation skills
• Aptitude for building client relationships
• Team player that is motivated and takes the initiative to deliver
• Must be organized and have the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Capable of working autonomously to desired outcomes of a project
