About the position
The Application Engineer - Sales Tools at LG Electronics plays a crucial role in supporting product development and sales initiatives within the HVAC sector. This position involves collaborating with various functional teams to enhance LG's sales tools, ensuring they meet customer needs and industry standards. The engineer will serve as the primary contact for inquiries related to sales tools, develop training materials, and maintain the functionality of these tools to drive growth in the U.S. market.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to product development design requirements and testing for HVAC sales tools.
- Serve as the sales tool expert for LG's LATS HVAC and LATS Revit tools.
- Respond to internal and external inquiries regarding the application of LG's sales tools.
- Create and maintain training materials including user manuals, presentations, and training videos.
- Gather customer feedback to develop value-added cases for upgrades and new features of sales tools.
- Identify and communicate bugs to the factory, track fixes, and coordinate software releases to the sales team.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- Strong presentation skills for engaging with technical audiences including engineers and sales representatives.
- Ability to adapt to diverse management styles and processes from international colleagues.
- Knowledge of industry trends and technologies related to HVAC sales tools.
- Strong English language skills for technical documentation creation and improvement.
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical, electrical, and architectural blueprints and specifications.
- Experience in creating training materials and user manuals.
