About The Position
As an Application Engineer on the People Technology team at Atlassian, you will play a crucial role in configuring solutions that utilize third-party HR Technology SaaS applications, specifically Workday HCM and iCIMS. This position requires a proactive approach to working with global teams in a dynamic environment, where you will be motivated to apply your existing technical skills while also being enthusiastic about learning new tools and skills. Your contributions will be vital in ensuring that the team operates effectively and efficiently, ultimately leading to positive outcomes for the organization. In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing requirements, designing, configuring, testing, and deploying solutions independently using various Workday HCM modules. You will partner with peer application developers and engineers to build end-to-end solutions that address large and complex problems. Additionally, you will provide level 3 incident support to resolve system issues and fix defects, ensuring that the systems run smoothly and effectively. A key aspect of your role will involve identifying opportunities for improvement by researching new Workday functionalities that can bring value to our customers or solve their problems. You will also be expected to learn and support technologies used by the team beyond your core area of expertise, demonstrating a commitment to continuous learning and development.
