About the position

Meta's People Engineering Team is dedicated to building applications and experiences that empower Meta's engineers to change the world. The Workday platform is central to managing people data and integrates with numerous internal applications and hundreds of external systems. As an Application Engineer specializing in Workday, you will play a pivotal role in reimagining productivity by delivering transformative products that cater to Meta's employees and various business groups. In this position, you will serve as the subject matter expert on Workday integrations, leading the research, design, development, testing, and delivery of new Workday integrations. You will create detailed integration specifications, field mappings, and designs to support the entire integration deployment life-cycle. Collaborating with business stakeholders, you will identify problem areas and assess the overall impact of projects. Additionally, you will research integration failures, perform root cause analyses, and report findings to management and business leaders, developing plans to advance the overall Workday strategy for Meta. You will partner with business leaders and People Engineering teams to align on objectives and programs, managing timelines and deliverables within large, multi-month projects.
