The Application Engineer position is a direct-hire opportunity with a growing manufacturer located near Brecksville, Ohio. This role is pivotal in managing multiple customer mechanical design projects from the initial concept phase through to commercialization. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in optical design and analysis, particularly in relation to LED systems and components. The position offers a competitive salary range of $60,000 to $80,000 per year, commensurate with experience, along with a 401K match and a comprehensive benefits package. All candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States. In this role, the Application Engineer will be responsible for hands-on optical testing, evaluation, and debugging of both prototype and production components. This includes performing detailed analyses to develop design options or recommendations for current and future concept programs.
