About the position

The Applications Engineer will play a crucial role in addressing complex challenges related to data interoperability, data exchange, data governance, and data security within a software services company. This position requires a strong background in hardware security solutions, particularly within the semiconductor customer base, and involves working on the development and management of solutions for reliable information exchange.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage hardware security solutions for semiconductor customers.
• Utilize HDL languages such as System Verilog, Verilog, and VHDL at the RTL level.
• Engage in software development on Unix/Linux platforms.
• Implement and maintain scripting solutions using TCL, Python, and Unix shell scripts.
• Oversee installation and setup of applications and systems.
• Apply knowledge of ASIC and FPGA design flows in project execution.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in computer science, electrical, electronic, or computer engineering required.
• Proficiency in HDL languages: System Verilog, Verilog, and VHDL at RTL level.
• Strong knowledge of Unix/Linux software development.
• Skilled in scripting languages such as TCL, Python, and Unix shell scripts.
• Experience in installation and setup of hardware and software solutions.
• Knowledge of digital IC design flows, specifically ASIC and FPGA.

Nice-to-haves

• Strong understanding and experience in Logic Synthesis or DFT.
• Prior knowledge and experience with EDA tools as an Applications Engineer.
