About the position

The Rebuild Applications Engineer position is a critical role within our engineering team, focused on developing engineered solutions to upgrade existing machines and competitive machines. This position requires a blend of technical expertise and customer interaction, as the engineer will be responsible for reviewing requests for quotes (RFQs), determining the validity of the requests, and ensuring that all necessary information is complete. The engineer will also be tasked with calculating and developing engineering estimates for the number of hours required for various projects, preparing quotes, and determining material requirements and cost estimates. This may involve creating layouts, sketches, and marked drawings to send to vendors for cost estimation of fabricated and commercial components. In addition to the technical aspects, the Rebuild Applications Engineer will ensure that all updated customer information, including history cards, manuals, and drawings, are properly completed and forwarded to the customer as required.
